Xap Planning and Implementation
An Xap Mentor website is a powerful tool for providing students, families and educators with information about statewide higher education oppportunities. While the Mentor platform can support a wide range of information, it is up to the website sponsors to provide the editorial content, structure and vision to meet the needs of their target audiences.
We work with you to supercharge your Mentor site and take it to a new level. The result is a more powerful and friendly site with information that is easy to find and easier to understand. We help you target your information to the different audiences who use your site–students, families and educators–each with different needs. We can also help develop strategies to engage colleges and universities as active participants in your statewide Mentor site.
Here are a few examples of our extensive Xap involvement.

- Led the initial implementation of CSUMentor.

- Designed and specified functionality for California High School and Transfer planners.
- Developed design and functionality for the California GEAR UP Resources Clearinghouse.
- Redesigned CSUMentor to enhance usablility and and functionality.
- Developed design specification for an online educational loan comparison tool.
- Designed and conducted a range of focus groups to facilitate implementation of new technologies.
